Rob Clous has worked in the city of Haarlem, Netherlands, since the 1960’s as a sculptor, ceramicist, and graphic artist.
His love of jazz has inspired him to do surrealistic etchings on the subject, some in color, usually yellow, blue, gray, and black.
He has made etchings of Louis Armstrong and Dave Brubeck, and some relating to musical instruments. Some works of Clous
may be found in the Frans Hals Museum in Haarlem, the Cultural Council North Holland, the Hague Art Circle, and many
Art Galleries in the Netherlands.
