| This sterling silver flatware set was designed by the Danish designer/silversmith Hans Hansen. The handles to the pieces are made of glass enamel in an off white color. There are eight five piece place settings consisting of 8 knives 8 1/2", 8 forks 7 1/4", 8 salad forks 6 5/8", 8 soup spoons 6 7/8" and 8 teaspoons 5 5/8". Hansen is said to have designed and made this set for his daughter and also named it after her, Amalie. This is a very unique, rare and sought after pattern that is seldom seen outside of Denmark. |
